Learning every day
Nobody knows everything, and that's the point. We invest in skills development, but most learning happens in projects – through new technologies, new industries and colleagues who challenge you to think one step further.
Technical depth
We're not generalists who scratch the surface. Here we get to the bottom of problems – troubleshoot at component level, read datasheets and measure with oscilloscopes. If you like truly understanding how things work, this is the right place.
Our office is in Västerås, close to both the city centre and Lake Mälaren. We work with clients worldwide, but our base is here.
Open positions
We always keep the door open for new competent colleagues. If you don't find a position that suits you and you have a competence that you think fits Motion Control, you are always welcome to send in a spontaneous application.

Thesis projects
Every semester we host students for thesis projects. With us, you work on real questions – not practice assignments. You get a supervisor and access to a team of experienced engineers who are happy to share their knowledge.
Several of our employees started with a thesis project with us. That's the best recommendation we can give.

Internships
We regularly host LIA interns from vocational colleges. You become part of the team from day one and work on real assignments together with experienced colleagues who guide you through the internship.
If you are interested in interning with us, we ask you to describe your education and the internship structure in your application's cover letter.
Many of our employees started as LIA interns and stayed on after graduation.

Requirements and application
To be considered for a position, thesis project or internship, you need to have knowledge in electronics and/or computer engineering, and be proficient in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
